Emirates adds Conakry and Dakar to its African network

UAE - Mubasher: Emirates Airline will resume its passenger flights to Conakry in Guinea and Dakar in Senegal from 3 September, expanding its network to 77 cities across the world and eight cities in Africa.

Flights from Dubai to Conakry and Dakar will be linked services, which will be operated twice per week, according to a press release on Tuesday, 25 August.

The linked services between Conakry and Dakar will connect travellers to and from destinations in the Middle East, West Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Far East.

In March, the airline has suspended its passenger flights after the global lockdown has been imposed to curb the coronavirus (COVID-19) spread. It was only in recent months when Emirates restarted international flights, as travel restrictions have eased.

Following flights' resumption to certain destinations, COVID-19 PCR tests become mandatory for all inbound and transit passengers arriving to Dubai, including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from.

It is noteworthy to mention that in early April, Emirates Airline has got the approval of the concerned authorities to resume a limited number of passenger flights.
