Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates is reportedly considering a new order of Boeing’s 777X twin-aisle jets, along with an order for Airbus’ A350 jetliner and A330neo.
The UAE’s carrier is pondering the cancellation of 40 Boeing 787 Dreamliners order and A380 order, informed sources told Bloomberg.
“The negotiations over the Emirates order for as many as 36 A380s had reached an impasse toward the end of last year, with alternative plans being drawn up in the last few weeks,” Bloomberg reported, citing one of the sources.
Airbus, Boeing, and Emirates declined to comment on the matter.
