Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai's Emirates Airline plans to raise $2.5 billion to finance the purchase of Airbus Group SE A380 superjumbos, Bloomberg reported on Saturday.
The Dubai-based company seeks a short term loan to be matured in 18 months at about 135 basis points over the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR).
Emirates is set to receive 21 A380s in the fiscal year ending March 2017.
