UAE - Mubasher: The UAE’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) on Wednesday announced it will participate in the Federal Government Stand at 39th edition of GITEX Technology Week 2019, which will take place from 6 to 10 October 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
The ministry plans to showcase new smart and innovative initiatives to ensure its commitment to enhance its services during GITEX Technology Week, according to a press release.
Moreover, the ministry aims to adopt the optimum digital transformation in line with the initiative of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in turning e-government to smart government.
The MoF will also launch its most eminent electronic and smart solutions designed to meet the expectations and needs of customers at the GITEX 2019, the largest event of its kind in the MENA region and South Asia.
Undersecretary of the MoF Younis Haji Al Khoori said: “The Ministry of Finance takes a proactive and forward-looking approach and adopts digital solutions and innovative initiatives that enhance the efficiency and quality of the services provided, as it is committed to achieve the highest levels of happiness among customers.”
“The ministry's team will work directly with the public to get their feedback and suggestions on the services provided, and to introduce them to the most prominent smart technologies launched by the ministry that were designed to serve the public,” he added.
Along with launching the initiatives, the ministry will hold specilaised workshops at the five-day event with the aim to enlighten the public about smart services and projects executed by the ministry.
Furthermore, an interactive meeting with the ministry’s strategic partners will be held during the GITEX week to promote positive communication with all government entities.
The 39th GITEX Technology Week 2019 will be hosted held under the theme 'Synergising the Mind and Technology Economy’ and will showcase the recent e-projects, AI initiatives, 5G applications, and cloud computing.
More than 4,800 exhibitors from over 140 countries are expected to participate in the exhibition.
It is worth noting that public and visitor satisfaction hit 91% during the 38th GITEX Technology Week 2018.
