Mubasher: Emirati visitors to the UK have spent around AED 1.38 billion in 2018, up 22% year-on-year, according to data released by Visit Britain.
The number of Emirati visitors to the UK jumped 53.8% year-on-year to 111,670 over the course of the previous year, staying there for 993 nights, Al Khaleej Newspaper reported, citing the British authority.
Meanwhile, around 392,000 UAE residents of different nationalities spent AED 2.83 billion in the UK last year, staying there for around 3.53 million nights at a guest night rate of 9 nights per person.
In the first quarter of 2019, around 16,200 Emirati nationals have visited the UK, according to data.
