Dubai-Mubasher: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) posted net profits of AED 516 million ($140.5 million) in the fiscal year 2015, a 27% growth over 2014, according to the company's statement on Tuesday.
Total revenues increased 12% year-on-year to reach AED 1.66 billion.
Empower achieved an annual increase of 6.7% in its cooling capacity which reached 1,115,000 Refrigeration Tons (RT) in 2015, Bin Shafar said, adding that the company boosted its production and commissioned new plants.
In 2015, the company saw operation of new stations and expansion of business operations in Dubai.
