Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) posted a 24.22% rise year-on-year in its profits during fiscal year 2016, according to a statement.
Profits reached AED 641 million in 2016, compared to AED 516 million in 2015.
Total revenues reached AED 1.84 billion in 2016, up 11% year-on-year.
Empower is likely to continue adding new projects and customers, the company’s CEO Ahmad Bin Shafar said.
Operating 1.250 million refrigeration tonne (RT), Empower offers district cooling services to developments such as Jumeirah Group, Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai International Financial Centre, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Ibn Battuta Mall, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai World trade Centre Residences, Dubai Design District, among others.
