Cairo – Mubasher: Empower is set to inaugurate a new waste-to-energy plant in the Egyptian governorate of Beheira in November, the company’s chairman Hatem El-Gamal said.
The renewable energy firm signed a deal with Milky's Farm to use manure to produce methane gas which can be used to generate energy, El-Gamal told Mubahser.
With total investments of EGP 96 million, the to-be-established facility in El-Nubaria will produce about 1 megawatt (MW) of electricity, he added.
