Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance for the second successive session amid higher trades on Sunday, weighed down by the fall of energy and telecom sectors.
The general index fell 0.23% or 10.52 points to reach 4,585.51 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 89.53 million on Sunday, compared to AED 105.63 million last Thursday. Trading volume reached 44.47 million shares, compared to 54.77 million shares.
The energy sector declined 1.28% as Dana Gas retreated 1.54%. The telecom sector slid 0.82% after Etisalat went down 0.82%.
The banks sector sank 0.02% after Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) tumbled 0.27% and 0.82%, respectively.
On the other hand, the real estate sector rose 0.58% after Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties went up 1.09% and 0.42%, respectively.
