Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened at a rise on Wednesday, backed by the energy, real estate and banks sectors.
The general index added 0.27% or 11.04 points to reach 4,119.46 points by 11:46am UAE time.
The UAE markets still lacks catalysts amid the volatile global economy and oil prices, analysts told Mubasher on Wednesday.
The market saw trading of 13.07 million shares through 275 transactions, with turnover of AED 22.31 million.
The energy sector gained 3.68% as Dana Gas rose 4.6%.
The consumer staples sector advanced 1.15% after Agthia Group levelled up 1.33% to AED 7.60.
The real estate sector increased 1.05% as RAK Properties added 2.13%.
The banks sector grew 0.35% due to a rise in Union National Bank by 3.04% to AED 4.74.
On the flipside, the investment sector fell 1.35 after Arkan Building Materials declined 1.19% to AED 0.83.
