Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The energy sector is expected to witness further acquisitions, according to the UAE’s energy minister Suhail Al Mazroui.
These acquisitions will contribute to creating an added value, Al Mazroui added on the sideline of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) in Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) previously unveiled its plans to consolidate the operations of three of its shipping, marine and services companies into one firm in order to increase efficiency.
The company also announced in October its intention to integrate the Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) and Zakum Development Company (ZADCO).
