Mubasher: The UK’s BP and Italy’s Eni have expressed their interest in developing the giant Majnoon oil field in Iraq, Reuters reported on Monday.
Other oil companies are also keen on developing the field, which Royal Dutch Shell plans to leave next year, Iraqi officials told Reuters
The Iraqi oil ministry had not yet started talks with any company, the news agency noted.
