Cairo-Mubasher: Italian Oil Company Eni achieved a production of 700 million cubic feet per day, or 128,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), from Nooros field ahead of schedule, according to a statement.
The field is expected to reach a maximum production capacity of about 160,000 boed in the spring of 2017.
In July 2015, the field was discovered in Egypt in the Nile Delta offshore and put into production in September 2015.
