Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Business opportunities for information and communication technology (ICT) players in the UAE are valued at $6.5 billion by 2026, according to a new report by Ericsson.
These opportunities will be available for ICT players who can leverage 5G to digitalise industries.
“Manufacturing and energy/utilities sectors represent the biggest opportunity for revenues created or enhanced by 5G,” the report highlighted.
Ericsson expects a revenue potential of $3.1 billion for UAE telecom operators who address industry digitalisation by 2026.
