Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose till Wednesday’s mid-session, backed by First Gulf Bank and Eshraq Properties.
At 12:30pm UAE time, the main index rose by 0.4% or 16.75 points to reach 4,225.90 points.
A total of 68.18 million shares were exchanged in 898 transactions at turnover reaching AED 80.3 million.
The banks sector advanced by 0.96% powered by FGB that added 2.04%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector slipped 1.65% due to Aldar that fell by 2.14%, while shrugging off the rise of Eshraq Properties by 1.82%.
The telecoms sector shed 0.62% dragged by Etisalat.
Analysts told Mubasher earlier today that UAE stock markets may see ‘normal and justified’ profit taking today especially on stocks that rallied recently.
