Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi-listed Eshraq Properties’ stock saw continued gains on Sunday, simultaneously with an announcement by the company that managing director Jamal Hamad Alsaghyir and board member Yasser Hamad Alsaghyir withdrew their resignation.
Eshraq rose 8% to 15-session high to AED 0.54 by 11:50 am UAE time. Trading on the stock reached 35.44 million shares exchanged through 224 transactions, generating AED 19 million.
Real estate gained 5.08%, backed by Eshraq gains, in addition to Aldar Properties which advanced 5%, in a session where most sectors were up.
In the meantime, the general index grew 2.97% to 4,026.75 points. Trading volume reached 113.6 million shares, while turnover amounted to AED 185 million.
