Mubasher: The capital value of the companies listed in the real estate sector in Boursa Kuwait shrank by 10% by the end of the fourth quarter in 2017, according to a recent report by Kuwait Finance House (KFH).
Real estate companies registered a total capital value of KWD 2 billion when compared to KWD 2.2 billion by the end of the third quarter of 2017, KFH added.
On an annual basis, property companies listed on Boursa Kuwait posted a decline of 6% in capital value during Q4-17.
Meanwhile, the capital value of the total companies listed on Boursa Kuwait decreased by 7% to KWD 27.9 billion in Q4-17 compared to KWD 30 billion in Q3-17.
KFH noted that the number of real estate companies listed on the stock market decreased to 34 in Q4-17 compared to 35 in Q3-17.
