Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Etihad Airways has signed a $100 million (AED 367.29 million) deal with Lufthansa to get catering services from unit LSG.
The UAE's flag carrier will also consider cooperation on maintenance, Etihad Aviation Group CEO James Hogan said on the sidelines of a press conference.
The four-year deal will see LSG provide catering services at 16 cities outside Abu Dhabi, Hogan added.
Both companies also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for Lufthansa Technik to find possible opportunities for maintenance at Etihad and the airlines in which it owns stakes.
