UAE – Mubasher: Etihad Airways has suspended its operations through Iranian airspace over the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman.
The Emirati carrier decided to use alternative flight paths on a number of routes to and from Abu Dhabi until further notice, according to Reuters.
The situation erupted in the Arabian Gulf after Iran shot down an American drone using a surface-to-air missile.
Yesterday, US President Donald Trump said that he had called off a military strike against Iran, sparing 150 Iranian lives.
