UAE - Mubasher: Etihad Airways has inked an agreement with dnata Travel Group to operate its Etihad Holidays through the UK-based travel services provider.
Under the partnership set to formally start in May, dnata will offer Etihad Holidays with sales and services as well as market its brand in the UK, according to a press release on Monday.
Hence, the agreement will promote Abu Dhabi by presenting the emirate's cultural, historic, and leisure places.
Commenting on the partnership, the senior vice president destination and leisure management at Etihad Airways, Hareb Al Muhairy, said: "Our new partner dnata Travel Group will act as the essential link between Etihad Holidays and the consumer, while providing full support of our marketing and distribution activities in the UK."
Meanwhile, the CEO of dnata, John Bevan, remarked: "Our focus is to grow from that strong foundation and use our tour operating and brand-building expertise, to further increase arrival numbers into the UAE capital and broaden the range and choice of destinations and products available."
