Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Etihad Airways is reportedly seeking a $500 million finance to fund the purchase of 4 Boeing 787 Dreamliners ordered previously by the UAE carrier.
Last week, Etihad requested a group of banks for the finance, informed sources told Reuters
“[The finance] is likely to be provided through bilateral loans or loans involving a small club of lenders,” the international news agency reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
With expected maturity of 12 years, the loans are likely to be provided by Abu Dhabi-based banks, the sources added.
The Emirati carrier declined to comment.
