Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Etihad Airways is set to use a 299-seat next-generation Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in its flight from Abu Dhabi to Cairo.
The UAE-based carrier plans to operate four daily services to the Egyptian capital, providing business and leisure customers with greater choice and optimised timings to benefit, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
"Etihad Airways has been serving Cairo since 2004 and today it is one of the largest point-to-point markets on our global network, bolstered by the hugely important ties between the UAE and Egypt,” Etihad Airways’ executive vice president - commercial Mohammad Al Bulooki commented.
In 2017, the Abu Dhabi-owned airline carried almost half a million guests on its multiple daily flights to and from Cairo, he added.
