Abu Dhabi –Mubasher: The general index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed on Monday in the green, backed by the real estate and telecommunications sectors.
The general index increased 0.11% to 4485.01 points at close, adding 5.02 points.
The real estate sector gained 0.35%, on the back of Aldar’s stock, which increased 0.43%, while the telecommunications sector and its stock Etisalat grew 0.28% each.
Trading volume dropped to 23.92 million shares as compared to 30.47 million shares on Sunday, while turnover increased to AED 57.35 million versus AED 50.86 million the day before.
Dana Gas’ stock achieved the highest trading volume of 5.37 million shares traded, while Etisalat’s stock was the value leader with AED 15.91 million.
