Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The financial results of Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) showed a rise of 17.14% year-on-year in net profit for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2015.
Net profit reached AED 1.64 billion in Q4-15, versus AED 1.40 billion the same period of 2014, according to a bourse filing.
In 2015, the company’s annual profit narrowed 3.9% to AED 8.27 billion, compared to AED 8.60 billion a year earlier.
Total revenues rose 6.6% to AED 51.72 billion by the end of 2015 from AED 48.5 billion by the end of 2014.
Etisalat earlier reported a net profit of AED 6.63 billion in the first nine months of 2015, 7.8% lower than the AED 7.2 billion figure from the same period of 2014.
The company’s Q3-15 profit shrank 12.42% to AED 2.285 billion from AED 2.609 billion in the same period of 2014.
