Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Etisalat’s stock gained early Sunday, supporting the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
By 10:40 am UAE time, the stock grew 1.16% to AED 17.5 after 109,010 shares were exchanged at a turnover of AED 1.9 million.
In the meantime, the ADX’s general index increased 0.58%, adding 25.7 points and reaching 4,423.07 points.
Turnover on the ADX amounted to AED 16.62 million after 16.47 million shares were traded through 176 transactions.
Etisalat last reported a 6% year-on-year rise in profits for the second quarter of 2017. In July, the ADX-listed telecom operator distributed AED 0.40 in cash dividends to shareholders for the first half of 2017.
