Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index shed 0.22% or 9.51 points to close at 4,327.58 points on Thursday.
The telecommunications sector and its only stock Etisalat dropped 1.19%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector grew 0.14% after Eshraq Properties increased by 1.39%.
The banks sector inched up 0.08%, pushed up by First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), which rose 0.49%.
The ADX’s trading value increased to AED 87.8 million from AED 82.9 million on Wednesday, while the market’s trading volume reached 32.1 million shares through 804 transactions, compared to 37.1 million shares in the previous session.
Eshraq Properties topped the ADX in terms of trading volume, with 7.3 million traded shares, while Etisalat was the market’s most actively-traded stock, with a turnover of AED 26.2 million through 179 transactions.
