Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened at a decline on Wednesday, in line with the fall of Etisalat.
The general index slid 0.09% or 4.15 points to reach 4,579.26 points by 10:45am UAE time.
The insurance sector led losers after falling 1.4%, weighed down by Emirates Insurance which retreated 9.7%.
The telecom sector tumbled 0.7% after Etisalat also decreased 0.7%.
Turnover reached AED 48.66 million after trading 23.10 million shares through 350 transactions.
