Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed losses in Monday’s early trades due to a decline in blue chips led by Etisalat.
The general index lost 0.27% or 12 points to reach 4,361.53 points by 10:50am UAE time.
The telecom sector declined 0.3% as Etisalat went down 0.3%.
The real estate sector fell 0.27% due to a decrease in Aldar Properties by 0.37%.
The banks sector levelled down 0.04% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) slid 0.8%.
The consumer staples sector retreated 4.6% after Agthia Group lost 5.5%.
Turnover reached AED 124 million generated from trading of 124.9 million shares through 819 transactions.
