Mubasher: The industrial production in the European Union (EU) zone tumbled 0.6% during September, against a 1.4% increase in August.
Eurostat's data attributed the drop in industrial production to a 1.6% decrease in capital goods’ production.
Energy and durable consumer goods’ production fell 0.9% in September.
Year-on-year, the Euro zone’s industrial production rose 3.3%.
