Mubasher: The euro rose on Wednesday, amid a rise in the volume of loans to the private sector in the Eurozone and the stability of M3 money supply in November.
Loans to households increased by 1.4% in November after growing 1.2% in October, according to a data released by the European Central Bank.
Growth in overall money supply, known as M3, slowed slightly to 5.1% in November from 5.3% in October.
The euro was up 0.15% against the dollar to reach €1.0939 per dollar by 9:14 GMT.
The euro increased 0.13% against the pound sterling to reach €0.7382 per sterling.
