Euro zone trade balance surplus surges in September on higher exports

Mubasher: Euro zone's trade balance surplus rose during September, exceeding the analysts’ expectations.

The value of Euro trade balance surplus increased to Euro 25 billion in September, from Euro 21 billion in August, Eurostat’s data on Wednesday revealed.

Eurostat attributed the increase in trade balance surplus to growth in exports.

Euro zone’s exports grew to Euro 185.3 billion, against imports at a value of Euro 160.2 billion.
