Mubasher: European stock markets closed Friday at a rise, backed by positive US economic data which showed a significant year-on-year rise in retail sales in April.
Eurofirst 300 index advanced 0.8% at the end of the session, while the UK's FTSE index, Germany's Daxx and France's CAC gained 0.56%, 0.92% and 0.62%, respectively.
