European indices open on lower note

Mubasher: European stocks initiated Friday's trading session on a negative note.

At 8:15 GMT, FTSEurofirst 300 Index slipped 0.18%.

The British FTSE 100 index was 0.1% down.

Both France's CAC and Germany's DAX declined by 0.25% and 0.2 respectively.
