Cairo-Mubasher: European shares opened Wednesday lower, hurt by security worries after a soccer match between Germany and the Netherlands was cancelled on a threat of a bomb.
At 8:30 GMT, the FTSEurofirst 300 index declined 0.3%, while German's DAX slipped 0.1%.
France's CAC also moved 0.2% lower, and U.K.'s FTSE lost 0.1%.
