European stocks open in red zone

Mubasher: The European stock markets started Friday’s session in the red zone after a lorry driver killed at least 80 people in a terrorist attack during Bastille Day celebrations in Nice, France, according to the French news agency.

FTSEurofirst 300 index of European companies fell by 0.5% by 9:15 GMT.

UK’s Financial times index leveled down by 0.4%, France’s CAC 40 index fell by 0.6%, and Germany’s DAX index edged down by 0.4%.
