Dubai-Mubasher: The Eurozone consumer price index (CPI) inched up at an annualised rate of 0.1% in November, 0.2% lower than expectations, according to a statement issued on Wednesday by Eurostat.
The statement added that “The annualised core inflation also missed estimates to print at 0.9%.”
Food, alcohol & tobacco index was expected to have the highest annual growth rate of 1.5% in November as compared to 1.6% in the previous month, followed by services at estimates of 1.1%, compared with 1.3% in October.
Eurostat added that annual inflation of non-energy industrial goods for the month grew 0.5%, compared with 0.6% in October, while the energy’s stood at -7.3% compared with -8.5% month-on-month.”
