Mubasher: Inflation in the Eurozone registered a decline in October, despite expectations of it settling as energy prices slowed down.
Preliminary data published by the Eurostat showed a rise in the consumer price index (CPI) by 1.4% this month, down from 1.5% in September.
Meanwhile, core inflation, which excludes energy, food, alcohol, and tobacco prices, declined by 0.9% from 1.1% in the month before.
Energy prices recorded a 3% growth in October, compared to 3.9% in September.
