Mubasher: Inflation rate in the Euro zone settled during last month, according to the most recent data announced by Eurostat.
As per the data published on Friday, inflation rate registered 1.5% in September, maintaining the same level of August.
This comes contrary to the experts’ expectation that forecasted an inflation rate of 1.6%.
As for the basic inflation rate, which excludes food, alcohol and tobacco, it recorded a lower rate of 1.1% down from 1.2% in the month before.
The rise in energy prices also slowed down to 3.9%, compared to 4% in August.
