Mubasher: The Eurozone economy has recorded growth figures that came better than expected, signalling the success of the stimulus programme.
According to the data of the Eurostat, the gross domestic product (GDP) of the Eurozone countries grew by 0.6% in the third quarter of 2017, after registering an adjusted 0.7% growth rate in the prior quarter.
It is worth noting that experts’ forecasts predicted a growth of 0.5% during the three-month period between June and September.
On an annual basis, the Eurozone GDP grew by 2.5% year-on-year, compared to 2.3% for the same period last year.
