Dubai – Mubasher: Construction of Expo 2020 Dubai’s different buildings is on track and the main buildings are set to be completed by October 2019.
Around 33 cranes are working in the three sub-topic areas and the number of cranes will be raised over the coming period as nearly 6,100 cubic metres of cement are poured weekly in the construction site, Emarat Al Youm newspaper reported, citing the Expo 2020 Dubai Office.
Some of the participant countries are currently building their partitions, the office added, pointing out that Expo 2020 Dubai is building other partitions for renting.
Najeeb Mohammad Al Ali, executive director of Expo 2020 Dubai Office, had previously said that some of the participant countries in the exposition have begun building their partitions early April.
The six-month Expo 2020 Dubai will be held on 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021.
