Cairo – Mubasher: Export Development Bank of Egypt (EDBE) said Tuesday that consolidated profits for Q1-16/17 edged up 0.34% year-on-year to EGP 120.4 million from EGP 119.99 million.
Q1 revenues increased to EGP 618.87 million, higher 29.14% from EGP 479.21 million for the year-ago period.
Total deposits declined 8.5% over the first three months to stand at EGP 19.4 billion, compared with EGP 21.2 billion for the quarter ended 30 June 2016.
The bank granted EGP 9.35 billion loans for the first quarter, achieving a 2.3% increase from EGP 9.57 for the fourth quarter of 2015/16.
Over the fiscal year 2015/16, the bank earned EGP 354.4 million, while a year earlier EGP 388.5 million profits were registered.
