Doha – Mubasher: Ezdan Holding Group is planning to build a mega housing project worth QAR 4 billion, called ‘the city of Ezdan’, which the company already allocated an amount of QAR 1.5 billion for its launching in 2016, according to chief executive officer Ali Al Obaidli.
“Ezdan Group owns a two million square meters land, and it will use 965,000 square meters of it to build the city of Ezdan with a total cost of QAR 3.5 billion to QAR 4 billion,” Al Obaidli said in an interview to CNBC Arabia, adding that the group will also launch three projects next year with a market value of about QAR 3.5 billion.
The CEO said that the board of directors gave the green light for expanding the company’s business outside Qatar, adding that the occupancy rate in Ezdan properties exceeded 92%.
