Cairo – Mubasher: Ezz Steel posted on Tuesday a consolidated net profit of EGP 560.15 million for fiscal year 2016, compared to losses worth EGP 603.3 million for FY15.
Sales increased in FY16 to EGP 23.18 million from EGP 16.6 million in FY15, according to a statement to the bourse.
Standalone losses for FY16 reached EGP 591.4 million, 180.5% up from EGP 210.8 million for FY15.
Consolidated foreign exchange earnings amounted to EGP 816 million in FY16, while standalone foreign exchange losses came to EGP 289 million.
