Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) has digitally transformed all the account opening processes for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UAE via Bashr portal.
This step enables FAB to become the first bank in the Middle East to fully digitise the account opening processes for SMEs, according to a press release on Sunday.
The UAE government has launched Bashr platform to allow investors to establish businesses in the country within 15 minutes without submitting documents or dealing with customer service centres.
Developed in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Possibilities (MOP) and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), the platform is connected with federal and local government entities to offer commercial license services.
Over the past few months, FAB has cooperated with the governmental entities to introduce innovative solutions to the platform's services, including the opening of a bank account within 24 hours without filling any applications.
Recently, FAB has introduced a number of innovative digital solutions for consumers and merchants through its mobile wallet payit.
