Mubasher: Kuwait has signed an agreement with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) under which the organisation will open a permanent office for contact and partnership.
The agreement is aimed at supporting Kuwait’s national sustainable development plans, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Tuesday.
The deal will boost Kuwait’s food and agriculture sector, Kuwaiti minister of information and minister of state for youth affairs, Mohammad Al-Jabri, commented.
The agreement will also see the GCC country and FAO launching a partnership programme for joint projects in the agriculture and fisheries sectors, Al-Jabri added.
