Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) signed an AED 345 million contract with Mitsubishi Electric to build 5 power plants in the UAE's northern areas and expand Al Refaa power plant, according to a press release.
The plants are to be completed in 22 months as a maximum duration, according to FEWA's director general, Mohammed Saleh.
He added that FEWA has the right to make changes whether by adding or reducing the amounts mentioned in the contract within a 30% limit of the original value of the contract.
