Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened at a rise on Sunday, spurred by the growth of blue chips especially First Gulf Bank (FGB) and Aldar Properties.
The general index advanced 0.33% or 15.20 points to reach 4,589.90 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The banks sector topped gainers after adding 0.6%, spurred by Emirates NBD and First Gulf Bank (FGB) which recovered 0.2% and 0.8% respectively.
The real estate sector went up 0.3% due to an increase in Aldar Properties by 0.4%.
The market saw trading of 5.75 million shares through 183 transactions, with a turnover of AED 28.7 million.
