Fairmont unveils 1st luxury hotel in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh – Mubasher: Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, a subsidiary of AccorHotels, on Sunday announced inaugurating its first facility in Saudi Arabia under the name Fairmont Riyadh.

Marking its 26th hotel in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), the new hotel will offer 298 rooms, including 40 suites.

Designed by LW Designer Group, the new hotel, which is close to King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), also offers a number of meeting rooms and exceptional restaurants, including Café Connect, House of Grill, Pesto, and the landmark “Savoy Lounge,” Fairmont Hotels & Resorts said in a statement.

The AccorHotels’ subsidiary also boasts a one of its kind Gentlemen’s Tonic, which is a men-only spa and salon.

“The luxury hotel is set to become a popular destination through its unique design, unrivalled culinary options, diverse amenities and notable presence in Business Gate, a prominent development within Riyadh,” the owner’s representative Salama Bin Saedan said.

The luxury hotel will also offer a Ladies’ Lounge, which includes a beauty salon, boutique gym, and spa.

“Through its thoughtful design and world-class amenities, we are confident that the Fairmont Riyadh will quickly become a destination in and of itself in a rapidly growing city,” commented Sami Nasser, chief operating officer of AccorHotels in MEA.

The Fairmont brand owns hotels across various regions including China, MEA, the US, the UK, and the UAE, in addition to a large portfolio of over 75 hotels.
