Cairo – Mubasher: Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt reported that its net consolidated profits rose 72.5% year-over-year in the first quarter of 2016, according to a bourse filing.
The bank earned EGP 309.8 million ($34.77 million) inQ1 compared with EGP 179.5 million ($20 million) for the year-ago quarter.
Its standalone earnings reached EGP 274.8 million in the first quarter, compared with EGP 196.9 million in the first quarter of 2015.
By the end of 2015, the bank registered a net profit of EGP 753.9 million.
