Cairo – Mubasher: The volume of Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt’s business reached EGP 58.85 billion by the end of October 2016, up by 2.2% year-on-year.
The total assets rose 2.5% to EGP 58.08 billion by October 2016 from EGP 56.65 billion in the year-ago period, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
The current accounts and saving vehicles increased 2.5% to stand at EGP 51.33 billion by the end of October 2016, while investment accounts grew 1.5% to reach EGP 53.36 billion.
Moreover, the liquid assets went up 2.8% to EGP 3.2 billion by the end of October 2016, compared to EGP 3.11 billion in the prior-year period.
The bank's net profits advanced 38% year-on-year to EGP 892.3 million in the first nine months of 2016.
